Nagpur: A rashly driven car, apparently speeding at 90 to 100 km per hour rammed into a tree, killing two people on the spot and injuring one other on board the vehicle.

The accident happened in mid night on Thursday near Metro DM office here.

The deceased have been identified as Abhijit Paplu, 18 and Pavan Naidu, 19. Akshay Maske who survived the accident was reportedly driving the car.

A case under section 279, 337, 304 (A) IPC has been reportedly registered against Maske.

Eyewitnesses claimed that car was being driven at very high speed and suddenly knocked against a tree.

The impact of the collision was so grave that the front end of car (MH 20 BZ 4747) was fully bent inwards whereas the all four windows were badly damaged.
