18 Indian Forest Service officials transferred in State

The State Government in a notification has ordered transfer of 18 Indian Forest Service officers. Accordingly, Sarjan Bhagat, presently Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (Wildlife), has been promoted and posted as Managing Director of Forest Development Corporation of Maharashtra (FDCM).

In his place, Shree Bhagwan, presently Additional PCCF, has been promoted and made Principal Chief Conservator of Forest. Bhagwan will take his charge on October 19. Only thereafter, Bhagat will assume his charge.

Similarly, Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (Protection) B S K Reddy will take charge as Additional PCCF (Budget) the post till now was held by Bhagwan.

Dr Mohan Jha, Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (IET) has been transferred to Mumbai-based Sanjay Gandhi National Park.
