Nagpur: A 15-year old girl, who had gone to Waki for seeking blessings of Tajuddin Baba, was reportedly kidnapped by unidentified persons on Sunday. Cops have launched a search to trace the girl.
The Hudkeshwar-based girl, along with her friend, went to Waki pilgrimage centre around 11.30 am on Sunday. However, the girl did not return home even after a considerable time setting panic among family members. The girl’s friend too seemed to be in dark over whereabouts of her. Finally, a complaint was filed with Hudkeshwar police.
PSI S B Wankhede, following the Supreme Court directives that if any minor boy or girl goes missing, then the case should be treated as that of kidnapping, registered a case under Section 363 of the IPC and has mounted a massive search to trace the girl.
