Nagpur: Breaking a long pause in the city’s suicide incidents, a student of 10th class ended her life by hanging from the roof top of her house on Saturday. Identified as Sweety Rajendra Wankhede (15), the deceased was a resident of Gopal Nagar.
Police said that Sweety was found hanging from the roof top of her house on Saturday. The reason for her taking the extreme step could not be ascertained.
On getting the news, a team of cops from Pratap nagar police station reached the spot. After the inquest panchanama, the body was sent forpost mortem.
Pratap nagar police have registered a case of accidental death in this connection and are investigating the matter further.
