However, this company left the work after doing the work partially. The company had dug out a big tank for making the swimming pool. With heavy rains, the children living near the spot came to enjoy swimming in that tank. In July, the deceased Avez Khan also came to enjoy swimming in the tank. However, he drowned in the muddy water and died. Sources claimed that the company officials knew that the children come to swim in the tank. In spite of that the company’s officials did not take any preventive steps nor did the company employ any security guard to prevent the children to swim in the tank. It is because of this that Avez Khan died by drowning in the tank.
The Sakhardhara Police has registered a case under Section 304 of Indian Penal Code against the company officials.
