Nagpur: In another case of some maladjusted persons raping a minor girl, a one adult sexual predator had kidnapped a fifteen- year-old girl on May 3, 2016 and then raped her in Sonegaon area.
According to Police sources, the accused identified as Pramod alias Nikhil Prakash Dongre aged 23 years a resident of Bheemwadi Pili Nadi, Kamptee Road had kidnapped both the fifteen year old girl as well as her 8 year-old brother. However the accused had handed over the 8-year-old brother to a friend of his to be dropped in Khapri area. The cops are in the look-out for the absconding accused.
Sources claimed that the accused Pramod alias Nikhil Prakash Dongre had kidnapped the 15-year-old daughter and 8-year-old nephew of a person who is a resident of Sonegaon area on May 3, 2016.
The accused had handed over the 8-year-old brother to a friend of his to be dropped in Khapri area, but raped the helpless 15-year-old girl.
The family members of the victim had lodged a complaint with the Sonegaon Police Station. Based on the complaint lodged by the victim, Police Sub Inspector S F Meshram of Sonegaon Police has registered a case against the accused under Sections 363, 376 of Indian Penal Code and under Section 4, 6 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO).
The cops are investigating further.
