12 noon: As soon as the House assembled after the walk out by Opposition members, the Congress members led by Leader of Opposition Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil demanded the Government declare laon waiver and special package for farmers. The Government’s inaction in this regard is beyond understanding of the Opposition. The purchasing centres have still not been set up. The produce of farmers are still not being getting purchased. The Government is not waking up even after the massive morcha taken out by over one lakh farmers, charged the Opposition. “The CM should should take initiative on taking an all-party delegation and meet the Prime Minister and seek a good package from Central Government,” demanded the Opposition.
The slogan shouting and uproar by Opposition benches continued forcing the Speaker Haribhau Bagde to adjourn the House for 10 minutes.
