Nagpur: In a daring act, a 10-year old boy foiled his kidnapping by jumping from a two-wheeler in which he was being taken away by an unidentified person. The incident took place in Mankapur here on Thursday night.
The kid, Aditya, son of Shankarlal Shyamlal Viashya (36), resident of Tajnagar Lane No. 4, near Shahu Kirana Stores, was playing near his house on Thursday. Between 7 pm and 8 pm, a two-wheeler borne person lured Aditya and forced him to seat on his vehicle. As the person sped away, Aditya got panicked and jumped from the two-wheeler and thus foiled his abduction. Aditya, after jumping from the running two-wheeler, directly reached home scared and narrated the incident to his father Shankarlal who immediately approached Mankapur police and registered a case in this connection.
PSI Gaekwad has booked the unidentified kidnapper under Section 363 and mounted a hunt to nab him.
