Nagpur.

The Ambazhari Police had presented the two accused of the sensational murder case in the court on January 14, 2015. After presenting the case, the Ambazhari Police received 10 days Police Custodial Remand (PCR) for further investigations.

The two accused identified as Ashwin Turkhel aged 26 years and a resident of Valmiki Nagar and Nilesh Dagor aged 19 years, also a resident of Valmiki Nagar, who had enacted the daylight sensational murder of a 30-year-old young man on January 13, 2015 were arrested late in the night at around 10 pm by the police officials of Ambazhari Police Station.

It could be mentioned here that a 30-year-old young man identified as Ritesh Ramesh Baiswar was murdered in broad-day-light at 9:30 am in front of Chawan Hardware and Barbarian Gym in Dharampeth area on January 13, 2015.

Preliminary information revealed that there were three accused that had planned and murdered the victim. One of the three accused, who was said to be hiding and waiting for the victim, threw red-chili powder on his eyes. Seeing the three accused armed with knives and swords, his friend allegedly ran to the other direction, while the victim Ritesh ran towards the road. This is the lane that is hit opposite to Batukbhai Jewellers and next to Chawan Traders.

The Investigation Team led by In-Charge Police Inspector of Ambazhari Police Station succeeded in apprehending the two accused in the murder case. However, the third accused has managed to remain untraceable so far.

Deputy Commissioner of Zone 1, DCP Nirmala Devi has taken the murder seriously and has formed several teams to apprehend the third elusive accused.
