1 lakh gold ornaments robbed from two women

Nagpur News : Bike borne thieves zoomed away with gold ornaments worth Rs 1 lakh from two women from separate places on Thursday afternoon.  In first, a 45-year-old woman was robbed in front of the Empress Mall entry gate while in other; a homemaker was robbed of gold valuable worth Rs 50,000.

Victim Snehal Bikare, a resident of Aashirwad Nagar, reported the incident at Ganeshpeth police station while Vishwakarma Nagar resident Malti Mule, 45, filed a police complaint at Nandanvan police station.

Bihare, who claimed to have suffered a loss of gold ornament worth Rs 45,000, told police that the incident took place while she was driving her scooter to Kasturchand Park.

Mule was heading on her scooter to Gorewada to meet her sister when the bike borne thieves robbed her on Ramna Maroti Road.
