Standing committee chief, Narendra Borkar and Municipal Commissioner, Shyam Wardhane along with other Nagpur Municipal Corporation officers reviewed the construction work of Kavivarya Suresh Bhat Cultural Hall under construction at Reshimbaugh ground.

On the occasion, standing committee chief, Narendra Borkar and Municipal Commissioner, Shyam Wardhane took relevant details, like work completed and work pending, from the concerned officials. They reviewed basement area section, lift, cellar area, auditorium etc. They directed that care should be taken that no water gets logged in the basement area. Similarly, directives also given for keeping co-ordination between contractor and architect so that quality of construction can be ensured. They said with the help of additional workers the work should be done at faster pace.

The hall being constructed by Nagpur Municipal Corporation, has sitting arrangement for 2,000 people at a time and the construction work is underway.

Present on the occasion were, superintendent engineer, Prakash Urade, Nagarmantri, Sanjay Gaikwad, sub-divisional engineer, D D Jambhulkar, contractor M/s Sayona corporation’s Jeegnesh Patel, Shakil Niyazi and architect, Ashok Mokha.
