Aarohanam Art Society’s and its allied club, The Nagpur Photography Club, is conducting its third year of photography competition and exhibition for amateur photographers. The event, ISA MOSTRA-Monochrome, will be showcased on August 19 and 20, 2017 at Chitnavis Center Nagpur. Mr Rafique Sayed an eminent commercial photographer working in the field for more than two decades and visiting faculty to leading photography institutes will be judging the competition giving supreme platform the photography enthusiasts.The theme for this edition is monochrome – or photographs clicked in black and white to showcase the beauty in this genre of photography.
Open to Amateur photographers only, this contest / exhibition is a great chance to bring your photography skills to the fore and take it to the next level. A special category has been kept for school student up to standard tenth only. Participants need to submit a minimum of two and maximum of four original unedited JPEG/RAW picture files along with edited pictures of the same with a size of 18 x 12inches in 300dpi in soft only in CD or email on tnpc.core@hotmail.com.
There are a total of 10 prizes – 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize winners will receive cash prize of Rs 5000/-, Rs 3000/- and Rs 2000/- respectively along with certificate and specially designed mementos, 2 honourable mentions for school section and 5 others will receive a cash prize with specially designed mementos. All other selected entries on the wall will receive medal of appreciation along with certificate of participation to all other participant to receive certificate of participation.
