Single Window System Inspect by Mayor
Nagpur:
The Mayor Pravin Datke on Wednesday inspected the functioning of ‘Single Window System’ being operated at Fire Service Department premises at NMC head Office. The ‘Single Window System’ has been activated for providing Sarvajanik Ganesh Mandals the necessary permissions and No Objection Certificates on various aspects such as erecting pandal, stage, welcome arches on public roads or footpaths. The Mayor directed the personnel manning the counters to ensure that no Mandal is put to hardship in getting NOCs.

Other officials present on the occasion include Executive Engineer D D Jambhulkar, Chief Fire Officer Rajendra Uchke, and other officials of concerned departments. On earlier occasions, Sarvajanik Ganesh Mandals were forced to make rounds of NMC zone offices/head office, fire and emergency services department, traffic police, police department and MSEDCL/SNDL separately for different permissions or No Objection Certificates.

In the single window section, personnel from different departments such as police, NMC, Fire Brigade and MSEDCL/SNDL will deal with the applications of Ganesh Mandals. The applicant will get a call after three days to inform that whether the application has been approved, subject to receipt of NOCs to be issued by fire, police, traffic and MSEDCL/SNDL. The applicant will be asked to pay fees of all the departments at the counter and receive permission the next day. Thus, the permission will be issued within four days of receiving the application, that too from one counter.

The specimen application forms are being distributed from August 21 to 31 at all 10 zones of NMC. The forms are also available on NMC website www.nmcnagpur.gov.in and the print of the copy can be taken out.
