Nagpur: ICC president Advocate Shashank Manohar unveiled the ICC World T20 trophy during the promotional event held at Nissan Motors on Sunday.
Nissan Motors , the official sponsors of the ICC World T20 and all ICC events for the next eight years , have brought the trophy to Nagpur as a part of the promotion.
Area sales manager of Nissan Motors Rishikesh Potdar, MD Ashok Gandhi, director and CEO Yash Gandhi, director Achal Gandhi and general manager Manoj Chandran were also preent on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion Advocate Manohar said, ” It is a proud moment that India is hosting ICC T-20 World Cup. I would like to appeal to the citizens to enjoy the matches”.
The Nissan Trophy tour started its India journey from Dharamshala, followed by Mohali, Delhi and Kolkata. The Nissan Trophy Tour has now reached Nagpur to woo cricket lovers of the city. Earlier the trophy was flagged off by Indian pace bowler Umesh Yadav from Zero Mile in Nagpur. The trophy will head to Chennai, Bangalore and Mumbai, after igniting the excitment in Nagpur.
