Nagpur: In an awful incident, a 17-year old boy, on the pretext of dropping a 16-year old girl to her home took her to his house instead and raped her for three days with marriage promise. The incident was reported from MIDC area.
The victim 16-year old girl, on April 19, had gone to attend wedding reception of her friend’s brother being held at Mahajan Wadi in MIDC area. After the reception was over, the accused 17-year old boy, a distant relative, offered to drop the girl to her home. However, instead of dropping the girl to her home, the accused took her to his own house and raped her for three days i.e till April 22 with the ‘promise’ that he will marry her. However, the girl registered a case with MIDC police against the accused boy in this regard.
Acting on the complaint, MIDC PSI R N Barad booked the accused boy under Sections 363, 376 of the IPC read with Sub-Section 6 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and took him into custody.
