Nagpur: Dr. Neha Deshpande a noted Consultant in Phaco & Refractive Surgen, in Dr. K.G.Deshpande Memorial Hospital,218, North Bazar Road, Gokulpeth, Nagpur has received the Prestigious Dr. A. V. Madangopal Award of Vidarbha Ophthalmic Society for her research paper presented in 40th Annual V.O.S. Convention held at Chandrapur on 21st and 22nd of November, 2015.
Her paper was on wound healing and effect ofn post operative astigmatism after Phacoemulsification Cataract Surgery. Her hard work and interest in Ophthalmology particularly Phacoemulsificatin Cataract Surgery to give patients a spectacle free perfect vision is been responsible for receiving this prestigius award.
Her work was very much appreciated by all guest faculty of International repute, who were invited for 40th Annual VOS Convention. She has been recently awarded fellowship of International Council of Ophthalmology,(FICO).
At present she isan executive member of Nagpur academy of Ophthalmology (NAO) All the members of Nagpur Academy of Ophthalmology and all her friends and Colleges have sent her Congratulation for her work and Best Wishes for future projects.
