38 mobile phones, cash stolen from Paradise Mobile World in Mankapur

Nagpur: Unidentified burglars struck at a mobile shop in Mankapur and decamped with 38 cell phone handsets and cash collectively worth Rs 4.75 lakh in the intervening night of Sunday and Monday.

A resident of Shrikrishna Nagar, Godhni Road, Zingabai Takli, Pawan Purshottam Ingle (27) owns a shop named Paradise Mobile World in M B Town, Zingabai Takli. Around 10.30 pm on Sunday, Pawan locked his shop and went home. Meanwhile, in the intervening night of Sunday and Monday, unidentified miscreants smashed the shutter lock of Pawan’s shop and laid their hands on 38 mobile phones of different companies worth Rs 4.70 lakh and Rs 5000 cash kept in the counter. The theft came to notice of Pawan when he came to his shop the next morning. He immediately lodged a complaint with Mankapur police in this connection.

ASI Ezaz Sheikh booked the unidentified burglars under Sections 457, 380 of the IPC and searching for them.
