Nagpur: A 24-year old woman was not only molested but severely thrashed in her own house by three lewd youths on Friday night. One of the accused has been arrested.
According to police, the 24-year old woman, living in Jaripatka area, was alone in her house. Around 8.30 pm on Friday, the three accused Bunty Gabrel, Lalla Gabrel and Sonu alias Bhim Suresh Wasnik (22), all residents of Jaripatka, entered the woman’s house and indulged in vulgar actions and later thrashed her severely. The accused also warned the woman of dire consequences if she narrated the incident to anybody. However, the woman lodged a complaint with Jaripatka Police Station in this connection.
Jaripatka PSI Hanwate, acting on the complaint, booked the three accused youths under Sections 354, 448, 323, 504, 506, 34 of the IPC and succeeded in arresting Sonu alias Bhim Suresh Wasnik.
