Nagpur: The Tablers of Round Table India are very serious about achieving their main objectives of building classrooms for the under-privileged children. The month of November holds high importance for the Tablers since there are various community service activities organized for a complete week observed as Round Table India week by the National Board throughout India.
The Tablers of Nagpur Round Table-83 are passionate about achieving this objective of making classrooms for the schools imparting education to the under-privileged children on free of charge basis. However, they have not undermined their responsibilities towards the society. Their philanthropic deeds are worth mentioning and are praise-worthy too.
The Tablers of Nagpur Round Table-83 have planned a series of activities for the RTI Week which is slated to commence from November 8, 2015.
In keeping with the theme proposed by their National President “I for India”, almost all the Round Tables have planned to showcase much larger events pan India. Based on the directives of Round Table India, Nagpur Round Table-83 will be celebrating few days of the Round Table India Week by conducting community service activities.
Nagpur Round Table-83 has planned a slew of activities for the Round Table Week. While speaking to Nagpur Today, Chairman of Nagpur Round Table-83 Tabler Gaurav Agarwal said that they have organized a Health Check-up camp on various issues like Dental, Hygiene habits, Gynec awareness for Girls etc for the students of those schools with which they have been associated since many years in building up their infrastructure. They will also be visiting MIDC Hingna/Wadi to some Factories where they will be again conducting the Health Camp for the Laborers. He added that Tr. Karan Thapar and Tr. Paran Khandelwal are Convenors for the Health Check Camps and this activity is being done with selfless support from IMA (Indian Medical Association) who have agreed to join hands with Nagpur Round Table-83. We thank them for their kind support.
Secretary of the Nagpur Round Table-83 Tabler Rahul Agarwala said that they have also organized a Blood Donation Camp. Tablers, their family members and other friends and citizens of Nagpur city will be participating in this noble deed of donating Blood. He added that Tabler Sharad Agrawal is the Convenor of Blood Donation Camps.
November 8, 2015 will be observed as “National Go Green Day” wherein under the able support and efforts of Tablers Kartik Shukul, Tabler Sharad Agrawal and Tabler Piyush Daga, a Tree Plantation Drive will be undertaken. Nearly 500 tree saplings will be planted by the office-bearers and members of the Nagpur Round Table-83. Along with this Beautification of the Round Table India Square on Mount Road will also be done under convenorship of Tabler Ashish Agrawal.
November 15, 2015 will be celebrated by Round Table India as National Fellowship Day. The members will make a sincere effort to have fellowship with not only the others Tablers but also with people who need love and affection of the society.
November 16, 2015 will be celebrated as I-Clean Day. The Tablers of Round Table India will be actively cleaning their neighbourhood with the help of other neighbors. Apart from cleaning their own neighbourhood, they will adopt a policy of “Each one clean one” and will actively clean some area/place etc. While speaking to Nagpur Today, Tabler Sharad Agrawal said that this year RTI have intended to adopt a neighbourhood and show that as tablers they support community service and work towards Clean India Campaign in line with the vision of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
November 17, 2015 will be observed as “I Support a Cancer Child” by Round Table India where anyone who can afford to support an under privileged children suffering from cancer especially by taking care of the treatment cost etc. There are many who cannot even afford chemotherapies or radiotherapies.
Tr. Karan Thapar who is the Convener of Health Check-Ups while speaking to Nagpur Today said that often, all it takes, is to fulfill a wish list of terminally ill cancer child. He claimed that it goes a long way. He claimed that the Tablers will be innovative and display that “Tablers Can Make A Big Difference“.
