Gittikhadan police have booked four miscreants who robbed a youth of his valuables on Wednesday late night. The youth was also stabbed on his thigh after he put up a fight.
The complainant Subhash Ramchandra Raut (25), a resident of Plot No. 39, Iroz Society, Gorewada, was heading back towards his house on his Scooty moped (MH 31 DT 2687). At around 11.30 pm, four miscreants came on their Pulsar bikes and stopped him near Water Filter Flyover, Gorewada Road, and demanded to hand over his valuables to him. They took away his cell phone and Rs 200 cash collectively worth Rs 5200 from him. However, while the youth put up a fight, the goons stabbed him on his thigh and fled away from the spot.
On Subhas’s complaint, Gittikhadan police registered an offence under Sections 394 and 34 of the IPC and have started the investigations.
