Youth murdered over love affair in Gittikhadan area

Gittikhadan MurderNagpur: A youth was murdered in Gittikhadan area for infringing upon the area of the accused to fall in love. Romance has its own positive and negative effects. Youngsters often have an unwritten reign over the area of their residence. They consider it their area and have a very possessive nature towards their area and all the residents of the area.

According to sources, the deceased is identified as Clint Jude Hale aged 23 years and a resident of Flat No. 101, Sai Krupa Apartments, New Rathod Layout, Gittikhadan. The deceased Clint Hale had fallen in love with a girl who was resident of Bhupesh Nagar also in Gittikhadan area.

The deceased often used to go to Bhupesh Nagar to pick or drop his lady love. This led the youth of the area of feel insecure and jealous since they thought that a guy from some other area comes to their area and fall in love with the girl of their area (who they thought was theirs rightfully). This jealously reached its peak on January 26, 2016, when the deceased Clint Hale had gone to drop his lady love home. When Clint was there in Bhupesh Nagar, there was some verbal altercation with the youth of the area. Two friends of the deceased identified as Rohit and Vijay Jadhav had come to see him in Bhupesh Nagar too at the very time. This added fuel to the fire and the youth of the area assumed that the deceased Clint has called his friends to fight with them.

This led the youth to hit the friends Rohit, Vijay Jadhav and the deceased with sticks, rods and knife. The Clint sustained knife injuries to his heart, while his friend Vijay Jadhav sustained critical injuries to his head and other parts of the body.

On receipt of information, Deputy Police Commissioner Sanjay Latkar, PI R D Nikam and the staff of Gittikhadan Police Station rushed to the spot and managed to apprehend all the accused except Rajesh Tiwari.

The accused are identified as 1) Pankaj Thakur, 2) Baldev Sharma alias Iru, 3) Rajesh Tiwari and 4) Balram Singh all residents of Bhupesh Nagar. Till the time of filling the story, the Gittikhadan police have registered a case of attempt to murder and murder against the accused are still investigating the case.
