Nagpur: A youth was brutally murdered by five men in a well planned conspiracy to settle score over old enmity. The ghastly incident took place in Hingna police jurisdiction on Friday night. All the accused have been booked but no arrest has so far been made.
The deceased has been identified as Vinod Madhukar Khare (22), resident of Rajiv Nagar, Hingna Road, MIDC. Father of the deceased, Madhukar Vitthal Khare (50) told police that the five accused namely Tapas, Javed Khan, Parmeshwar Ranshur, Nitin alias Nitesh Sangde and Vicky, all residents of Rajiv Nagar, MIDC, had running feud with his son over some issue. Around 11 pm on Friday, the five accused with nasty designs in their mind came to his house and asked Vinod to come with them for food at a hotel. Believing them, Vinod went with the five accused.
However, as they reached near Dhangarpura, beside Hanuman Mandir, Mohgaon Road in Hingna, the five accused attacked Vinod with sharp-edged weapons and inflicted deep injuries on his face, head and forehead. Vinod collapsed and died on the spot. The five accused settled the score with Vinod in brutal manner. After murdering Vinod the accused fled the spot.
Hingna PSI A Dhanorkar, based on the complaint of Madhukar Khare, booked the five accused under Sections 302, 120(B), 34 of the IPC and mounted a hunt to nab them.
