A youth, driving a motorcycle, in an effort to overtake a bus crashed onto a road divider injuring himself seriously and later succumbed to injuries on the spot. The youth Kishore Manoharrao Firkey (25), a resident of Urja Nagar, Chandrapur, was driving a Bajaj Pulsar (MH-34/AF6608) on May 1. When he reached Kannamwar Nagar on Wardha Road at about 4.30 pm, he tried to overtake a bus but lost control of the bike and crashed onto a road divider. Kishore suffered grave injuries and died on the spot.
Sonegaon Police reached the spot after receiving the information and have started investigation into the incident.
