Nagpur: A youth was killed while another man was injured when a matador reportedly being driven at very high speed hit them at Mankapur Ring Road Square on Monday afternoon. The deceased,Praveen Bhaurao Warke (32) was a resident of Nagarjun Colony, Anand Nagar, Binaki Mangalwari.
Injured Pralay Sunil Patil (27), a resident of Indora, received injuries. Around 12.45 pm, Praveen Warke and Pralay Patil were standing at Mankapur Chowk. A speeding Matador (MH-40/Y-3199) hit them killing Praveen on the spot and injuring Pralay

After recording the statement of Pralay, Mankapur Police, took Matador driver Ravi Madhuji Giri (25), a resident of Saundad, Duggipar, district Gondia, into custody and registered an offence under Sections 279, 337 and 304(A) of the IPC.WPSI Y Shrikhande is investigating the case.
