Youth booked for stealing 43 mobile phones worth Rs 1.03 lakh

Dhantoli police booked a youth for allegedly stealing mobile phones from the shop he works. The accused has been identified as Ankush Sanjay Mandpe (21), a resident of Plot No, 169, Hanuman Galli, Anand Nagar, Sitabuldi.

Ankush repaired mobile phones in the shop Al-raza Max Mobile Service Centre, Shop No. 8, Netaji Market owned by Mohammad Hasin Raza. Since two-three months, he received complaints from customers that their mobile phones were not returned after being given for repairing. Raza discovered that 43 such mobile phones worth Rs 1.03 lakh were missing from his shop.

On Tuesday, Raza (33), a resident of Hansapuri, lodged a complaint against Ankush with Dhantoli police who booked the accused and registered an offence under Section 381 of the IPC.
