Nagpur: New Kamptee Police booked a youth for allegedly sexually exploiting a minor girl on marriage promise.
The 17-year-old victim lodged a complaint that Vaibhav Ganesh Dawande (20) sexually exploited her between June 13, 2021 and December 3, 2021 by promising to tie the nuptial knot with her. Later, he ditched her.
On the basis of the victim’s complaint, police registered a case under Sections 376, 376(2)(n) of the Indian Penal Code, read with Sections 4 and 6 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, against Vaibhav and started investigation
