Youth assaulted over Rs 20,000 dispute in Sadar; accused on the run

Nagpur: A 23-year-old youth was allegedly assaulted after demanding his pending dues in the Sadar Police Station area. The accused reportedly beat him up and issued death threats before fleeing the spot.

The victim, identified as Aliaf Khan, a resident of Kapil Nagar, had previously worked in vehicle seizure operations with the main accused Mohsin Khan, a resident of Bhaldarpura, in 2025. During that time, Mohsin allegedly owed him Rs 20,000. After not receiving the payment, Aliaf quit the job but continued to demand his dues.

According to reports, three days ago, Aliaf encountered Mohsin Khan along with his associates Umar Khan and Monu Khan near Meshram Chowk during the night. When he asked for his pending money, an argument broke out.

The situation escalated quickly, and the accused allegedly assaulted Aliaf, punching him in the face and injuring his nose. They also reportedly threatened to kill him before escaping from the scene. Videos of the assault have since surfaced on social media.

The injured victim was rushed to a hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case against the accused and launched an investigation into the matter.
