Nagpur: A young boy died when the motorcycle he was riding rammed a cycle rickshaw in Gittikhadan area on Friday evening. The rickshaw puller too received injuries to his head and back.
The rickshaw puller Nana Laxmanrao Wankhede (35) of Indira Mata Nagar Slums was going towards Mankapur Overbridge from Gorewada Square at about 5.30 pm on Friday. When he reached near Rathod Lawn on Ring Road, the deceased Chhabilal Sukhchand Challam (23) of Palloti Church, opposite KRC Lawn, rammed his Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle (MH-31/DH 0064) the rickshaw from behind with great speed.
As a result, both Nana Wankhede and Chhabilal crashed on the road forcefully. While the rickshaw puller Nana Wankhede suffered head and back injuries, the motorcyclist Chhabilal Challam too received injuries to his head. However, the head injury proved fatal to Chhabilal as he died on the spot.

Gittikhadan API Darekar, based on a report of Nana Wankhede, has booked the deceased Chhabilal Challam under Sections 304(A), 279, 337 of IPC and probing the matter further.
