Nagpur: A young man met with tragic end as he fell from fifth floor of under-construction building in Sadar area here on Friday. The deceased Miraj Ramratan Chaurasiya (21) was native of Shahaganj in Uttar Pradesh.
Around 5 pm on Friday, Miraj was working at the fifth floor of under-construction Parwana Bhavan in Sadar. Suddenly, his leg slipped and came down crashing on the ground. The grievously injured Miraj was rushed to Mayo Hospital for treatment. However, he succumbed to his injuries around 7.45 pm the same day during the course of treatment.
Sadar PSI P S Tayde, on the basis of information, has registered a case of accidental death and probing the matter further. Cops are investigating whether the safety measures were in place at the under-construction building.
