Xolo Q1100 pitched against Moto G with similar features; comes at Rs 14,999

Xolo has trained its guns on the stiff competition meted out to it from the rivals. Eyeing every gadget launch from other companies, Xolo promptly makes its moves. This time it takes quick action in presenting a fitting counterpart to Motorola’s just launched Moto G. Moreover it has many features resembling Moto G

With a price tag of Rs 14,999, Xolo Q 1100 runs on Android 4.2 out of the box. The Q 1100  features a 720p display, seems a rival to Moto G with a similar price tag, it is also powered by the Snapdragon 400 SoC (MSM 8228, unlike the G’s MSM 8226) and its four cores are clocked at 1.4 GHz, so it is slightly more  excited  than the Motorola phone.

In addition, there’s 1 GB of RAM and an Adreno 305 GPU.  Just like the Moto G, the Xolo Q1100 offers dual SIM (GSM-GSM) support. The biggest difference between the Moto G and the Q 1100 is the 5 inch HD IPS display with OGS and 720 p resolution, translating to a pixel density of 294 ppi.

Q 1100 has a camera with 8 mega pixel rear shooter with LED flash and BSI 2 sensor, and 2 mega pixel front camera, which gives an edge to it over Motor G.

The Q1100 also gets expandable storage to increase the 8GB of internal storage.

In addition, you will find support for all the standard smartphone connectivity options such as bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, AGPS, EDGE, and 3G. It is backed by a 2000 mAh battery, which according to the company can deliver 24 hours of talk time and 600 hours of standby time on 2G network.
