The introduction of the program and the introduction of the guest were given by the Chairman of the institution, Dr. Sandeep Shirkhedkar. He said that in the modern lifestyle people work sitting for long hours and use mobile phones and computers excessively. Because of this, attention towards maintaining correct body posture decreases, which leads to various health problems. He said that it is necessary to spread awareness about this subject in society and the program has been organized with this objective.

In his address, Dr. Pravin Dabli explained that incorrect body posture is becoming the cause of many diseases even at a young age. Continuously sitting in a bent position, keeping the neck down while using a mobile phone, sleeping in the wrong position or sitting in the same position for a long time puts unnecessary pressure on the muscles and nerves of the body. As a result, problems such as neck pain, back pain, spinal disorders, headache, fatigue and digestive issues may arise.

He informed that according to a study, nearly 80 percent of people experience back pain at some point in their lives, and the major reason behind it is incorrect body posture.

Dr. Dabli explained in detail the correct ways of sitting, standing, walking, driving and sleeping. He said that while sitting, the back should remain straight, the waist should be supported by the chair and the feet should be placed flat on the ground. It is also important to stand up and walk for a short time after every thirty to forty minutes.

Speaking about correct sleeping habits, he said that using a very high pillow and a very soft mattress is not good for health. A medium-firm mattress and a thin, soft pillow suitable for the neck are better, and sleeping on the left side is more beneficial for the body.

Dr. Dabli also informed that yoga and nerve stimulation therapy help significantly in improving body posture. For this, he advised practicing simple yoga asanas such as Tadasana, Bhujangasana, Makarasana and Pavanmuktasana. These help keep the spine flexible and strengthen the muscles, which in turn helps prevent many health problems.

During the lecture, Dr. Dabli also demonstrated practical methods to improve body posture and explained the harmful effects of incorrect posture. He appealed to the audience not to use mobile phones while lying on the bed or sofa, as it puts excessive pressure on the neck and may lead to serious problems in the future.

He also urged everyone to adopt positive changes in their lifestyle for a healthy life.

On this occasion, Dr. Dabli answered questions from the audience and resolved their doubts related to body posture.

Among those present at the program were Sandeep Shirkhedkar, Jayant Joshi, Satish Raipure, Shrikant Doifode, P. K. Kulkarni, Er. Bhargava, Vinod Sangitrao, Waman Parate, Ramesh Daryapurkar, Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax Sanjay Agrawal, Rajendra Chandorkar, Sandeep Agrawal, journalist Ajay Pandey, Vasant Pardhi and Saurabh Singh, along with many other dignitaries.

At the end of the program, the Honorary Secretary of the institution, Jayant Joshi, felicitated Dr. Pravin Dabli with a bouquet and a memento.
