A one-day workshop on the subject “Basic Life Support” was organized at Lata Mangeshkar Medical College and Hospital, Hingna Road, recently by Nagpur Rural Police. The workshop was held under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Dr Arti Singh and was attended by personnel from all police stations of district, Police Headquarters and Traffic Branch.
Dr George Abraham, Dr Vedprakash Mishra and Dr Vithhalrao Dange guided the participants in detail over the first aid to be administered to the road accident victims and other precautions to be taken at that time. The police personnel were also imparted training through demonstrations.
Such “Basic Life Support” workshop and training session for all police personnel will be organized in future also.
