Nagpur: In an audacious act, a woman and two of her male accomplices not only abused and molested a 25-year old girl in her own house but forcibly took away cash and gold ornaments collectively valued at Rs 1.48 lakh. The three accused ruffians have been booked and being searched by cops.
The complainant, the 25-year old girl, resident of Ambazari area, told police that when she was alone in her house, the accused Archana Tembhurne, resident of Plot No. 15, Hudco Colony, Jaripatka, and two of her male accomplices aged 24-25 years, burst into her house around 5.30 pm on Sunday. After entering her house, the accused Archana and two others started abusing her and also indulged obscene actions. Later, the three accused used force and took away cash of Rs 1.23 lakh and gold ornaments worth Rs 25,000 from the girl’s house. Bewildered by the molestation and looting, the victimized girl immediately approached Ambazari police and registered a case in this connection.
Based on the girl’s complaint, PSI P M Borge has booked the accused Archana Tembhurne and two others under Sections 354(B), 394, 506, 252, 34 of IPC and launched a search to nab them.
