Nagpur: A young married woman ended her life by setting herself ablaze in MIDC area here on Thursday evening. However, the reason behind the woman taking the extreme step could not be ascertained immediately.
The deceased Priyanka Manoj Chavre (36) of Dadaji Nagar, MIDC, at about 5 pm on Thursday, poured kerosene on her person in her residence and torched herself. She was taken to GMCH but succumbed to her burn injuries.
MIDC ASI Pande, acting on the information provided by deceased Priyanka’s husband Manoj Rajesh Chavre, has registered a case of accidental death and investigating the matter from all angles.
