Nagpur: In yet another incident of chain-snatching, a 50-year old woman was relieved of her ‘mangalsutra’ and gold necklace worth Rs 90,000 by two motorcycle-borne miscreants in Jaripatka areaon Monday evening. The victim, Maya Jageshwar Borkar of Sushila Society, Krushinagar, Jaripatka was returning home walking around 6.30 pm on Monday. Midway near Buddha Chowk Girls’ Hostel, two unidentified motorcycle-borne goons came near Maya and snatched her gold ‘mangalsutra’ and a necklace worth Rs 90,000 and speeded away.
Woman PSI Shirke has booked the two accused under Sections 392, 34 of IPC and searching for them.
