Woman robbed of gold mangalsutra in shared e-rickshaw in Dhantoli

Nagpur: Dhantoli Police have booked some unidentified miscreant(s) for allegedly robbing a 44-year-old woman for gold mangalsutra here on Tuesday.

Based on the complaint lodged by Seema Dilip Ambule (44), a resident of Sumit Nagar, Jaitala, Dhantoli Police have registered an offence under Sections 379 of the IPC and started the probe.

According to police sources, Seema had come to Dhantoli market for shopping on Tuesday afternoon. After the purchase, Seema boarded an e-rickshaw at around 2.30 pm. While crossing Saudia Company some miscreant(s) reportedly stole a mangalsutra kept inside her pocket worth Rs 60,000, Seema told cops.
