Nagpur: A 36-year old woman was robbed of her gold-silver ornaments worth Rs 1.55 lakh while travelling in a train from Nashik to Nagpur. Though the incident occurred between June 9 and 10, Pratapnagar police received the case diary from Railway police on August 2 or so.
The complainant Sheetal Kaushik Thakur (36), native of Abhijit Bungalow, D K Nagar, Nashik, boarded a train for travelling to Nagpur on June 9 and reached the city the next day. Sheetal had kept her 50-gram mangalsutra, silver ornaments and artificial jewellery collectively valued at Rs 1.55 lakh. According to Sheetal, three suspicious persons stole the gold-silver booty of her while she was travelling in the train between June 9 and 10.
