Nagpur: A woman Railway employee, who had lodged several complaints against a tout for indulging in black-marketing of tickets, was molested by him by way of chasing her slyly and resorting to obscene actions. The alleged dalal (tout) has been booked.
The lewd accused has been identified as Manohar Anand Deshmukh (50), resident of Snehal Nagar. The woman Railway employee (38), in her complaint to Ajni police, said that the accused Manohar Deshmukh is dalal and indulged in black-marketing of Railway tickets. The victimized Railway staffer had lodged several complaints against the accused in this regard. On Tuesday (May 31) around 8 pm, the accused Manohar chased the woman Railway employee slyly on the road from Vanjari Nagar Water Tank. Even the accused tried to come close near her and indulge vulgar actions despite protest by her, the complaint said.
Ajni WPSI Chavan, acting on the complaint, has booked the accused Manohar Anand Deshmukh under Section 354(E) of IPC and investigating the matter further.
Auto driver booked:
In another incident, a drunk auto driver outraged modesty of a 28 woman who refused to travel in his auto. The incident occurred near Shankar Nagar Bus Stop around 5 pm on Wednesday. The woman hired the auto (MH-31/EP 0469) for going to Medical Square for Rs 100. As soon as she boarded the auto, she noticed the auto driver under the influence of liquor. The woman immediately disembarked from the auto and sat in a six-seater auto. Enraged by her action, the auto driver caught hold of the woman and pulled her down from the auto. Offended by the acts of accused auto driver, the woman approached Sitabuldi police and registered a case.
PSI Pawar has booked the unidentified auto driver Under Section 354 of IPC and probing the matter further.
