Nagpur: A 35-year old woman was molested at knife-point, thrashed severely and threatened with life as well by two men on Friday night. The incident, occurred in Pachpaoli area, stemmed from old rivalry. The two men have been booked.
The 35-year old victim woman was standing in front of her house, located in Pachpaoli area, around 7.30 pm on Friday. At the same time, the two accused Harpalsingh Bhatti, resident of Baba Budhajinagar and Jasvinder Singh, native of Punjab, accosted her.
Both accused resorted to quarrelling with woman to settle an old score. During the course of the fracas, the accused caught hold of her neck and also indulged in vulgar actions. Later, one of the accused Jasvinder Singh drew a knife and put at the woman’s stomach in a menacing posture and threatened to kill her and her family members. The woman was also thrashed severely by the accused. Bewildered by the scary incident, the woman immediately reached Pachpaoli Police Station and filed a complaint.
Pachpaoli PSI Tayade registered an offence against both the accused under Sections 354, 323, 304, 506(B), 34 of the IPC and searching for them.
