Nagpur News : Ganeshpeth police booked two unidentified women thief who stole gold and silver ornaments kept in box from a running auto-rickshaw on Friday.
According to information, the complainant Komal Sandip Balai (23), a native of Gondia came to city to visit her relatives in Ganeshpeth. She took an auto-rickshaw from Model Mill Square and came to Vijay Talkies new bridge. Meanwhile, two other women shared the same auto-rickshaw. They managed to steal gold and silver ornaments worth Rs 74,410 kept in a box from her black handbag.
Komal discovered the theft only after she left the auto-rickshaw at the bridge. She tried to locate the auto and the accused but the auto was far from sight. She rushed to Ganeshpeth police station and lodged a complaint against the two unidentified women. Cops have registered an offence under Sections 379 of the IPC.
