Nagpur: Wockhardt Hospital on the eve of World Health Day felicitated a group of journalists for their outstanding contribution in the medical field. At a function held at Shankar Nagar-based Rashtrabhasha Complex Hall, the journalists were felicitated with mementoes at the hands of Civil Surgeon Dr U B Navade, IMA President Dr Vaishali Khandait, and Head of Wockhardt Centre K Sujatha.
The journalists who were honoured include Snehalata Shrivastav of Times of India, Vikas Vaidya of The Hitavada, Sumedh Waghmare of Lokmat, Anil Fekrikar and Puja Lohe of Tarun Bharat, Dinesh Tekade of Navbharat, Vijay Rushi of Dainik Bhaskar, Anand Kasture of Maharashtra Times, Mahesh Bokade of Loksatta, Kewal Jiwantare of Sakal, Suraj Patil of Lokshahi Varta, Chandrashekhar Gajbhiye of Deshonnati, Rajendra Atkare of Rashtraprakash and Rajiv Singh of Lokmat Samachar.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Navade said that such programmes and felicitations encourage one to do his or her job enthusiastically. Dr Khandait appreciated Wockhardt Hospital for the venture. The Centre Head K Sujatha said the journalists enlighten people about the latest developments in Medical field.
