    Nagpur
: Usually Annual General Body Meetings are a serious affair meant exclusively for the office-bearers and members of the Association, Club or Society. Often people try and slip out from attending these AGMs.

However, contrary to the popular idea, the Annual General Body Meeting of the Nagpur Round Table-83 was marked with fun and frolic.

Though all the office-bearers of Nagpur Round Table-83 went about the AGM in all seriousness adhering to the agenda and the schedule, it still reflected a lot of fun, laughter and gaiety. This is the first time when office-bearers and members of other Round Tables of the city and the Circlers were invited for the meeting.  Almost everybody enjoyed attending the AGM. The men-folk were attired in Indian traditional attire while the women were dressed in very beautiful evening gowns, designer-saris etc.

The programme Sergeanting aptly titled Tere Baap Ki Adalat had all the office-bearers and members of Nagpur Round Table-83, office-bearers and members of Ladies Circle and guests from other tables laughing till it hurt their stomach. Two unsuspecting office-bearers were suddenly caught off-guard and made to sit on the seat of accused facing a judge. The scene was almost similar to Aap Ki Adalat except for the hilarity which was induced by the morphed videos of the “accused” office-bearers. The allegations were also very hilariously weird. The member who played the role of Sergeant had absolute control over the accused leaving no stones unturned in embarrassing the accused. He was ably aided by another senior member who monitored the audio-visuals.

The members of the AGM had good tasty snacks, food and drinks which were taking rounds so none were in any hurry and were generally enjoying the Annual General Body Meeting. After the old members finished reporting the achievements during their tenure, they handed over the baton to the new office-bearers.
