Nagpur: Public Relations Department of Nagpur based Miniratna Public Enterprise, Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) has been awarded with prestigious national NiB Awards-2016 by Ernakulam Press Club (One of the oldest press club of the country) in association with PRCI in Kochi (Kerala). The two awards for excellence in in-house communications, were given to Asheesh Tayal, Dy. Manager (Public Relations), WCL at that hands of V. K Ebrahim Kunju, Minister for Public Works, Govt. of Kerala.
The quality efforts of Public Relations Department of WCL got recognized first time ever in the history of WCL. The credit of this achievement goes to the positive change in the organization occurred during last one and half years under the leadership of its dynamic management team. The efforts of Team WCL were recognized and highly appreciated during the progarmme for opening thirteen projects during last thirteen months and commitment of opening thirty six projects in thirty six months. The award ceremony took place at Radisson Blu Hotel, Kochi. The ceremony was attended by industry stalwarts, PR and Media Professionals from all over the country and Kerala.
