Nagpur, April 14: Dr. B. R. Ambedkar was paid heartfelt tributes at Western Coalfields Limited on his birth anniversary.
At a function held at the company headquarters, Director (Finance) Bikram Ghosh, Director (Human Resources) Dr. Hemant Sharad Pande, Director Technical (Planning & Projects) Sandeep S. Paranjpe, and Chief Vigilance Officer Ajay Madhukar Mhetre offered floral tributes and paid their respects.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Hemant Sharad Pande highlighted the life and vision of Dr. Ambedkar, emphasizing that the constitutional values of liberty, equality, and fraternity continue to play a vital role in the nation’s development.
During the programme, Liaison Officer of the SC/ST/OBC Cell, Atul Bansod, presented a brief account of Babasaheb’s life, while employees offered Buddha Vandana as a mark of respect.
The programme was attended by General Managers, Heads of Departments, officers, and employees. Similar tribute programmes were also organized across various units and establishments of Western Coalfields Limited.
