Western Coalfields Limited (WCL), Nagpur based Miniratna CPSU, was awarded with Corporate Performance Award during the 40th Coal India Limited Foundation Day Function at Kolkata, for achieving Excellent rating as per Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) 2013-14. The award was conferred on Shri. R. R. Mishra Chairman cum Managing Director of WCL.
Western Coalfields Limited has registered appreciable growth in Coal Production over last year. It is setting its goal to produce 60 million tonnes during 2019, within 5 years from now. The way forward for the company has been well set by opening new projects and expediting the long term activities.
