Watch: Sachin Tendulkar Rescues Dehydrated Bird; Netizens Praise Him For His Good Gesture

Former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has recently rescued and fed a dehydrated kite that flew into his balcony. The kite was injured and was not able to fly. The former batsman took to his social media account and shared the adorable video. In the video, Tendulkar was confused if the beard would like bread or chicken, he tries to feed the bird with his hands. The video shot in time-lapse has gone viral, and netizens have praised him for his good gesture.

After feeding the bird, Tendulkar decided to take the best help and contacted a Mumbai-based NGO for animals — Spreading Awareness on Reptiles and Rehabilitation Programme ( SARRP). The video also shows the SARRP volunteers coming to his residence and informed him that the bird is too dehydrated to be able to fly.

The former cricketer captioned the video as “A good deed brightens a dark world. Always be up to lend a helping hand, be it to humans, birds or animals. Do your bit!”. The video has garnered 53K likes, 6.4K shares and more than one million views.

After a few days of care, the bird was well enough to again fly in the sky.

The Cricket legend has also asked his fans always to be it human, bird or an animal. Previously, he has urged people to wear a helmet and to follow the traffic rules diligently.
