Nagpur: As the heat picked up by noon, the voters pile got bulkier at various polling booths in Nagpur. Large crowds and queues are seen outside voting centres, braving the scorching sun to wait for their turn.

The Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis along with his wife Amruta Fadnavis were also spotted among the commoners who turned out in great numbers to attend the big voting festival for Nagpur Municipal Corporation polls.

As Amruta Fadnavis cast her vote, she flaunted her inked finger to pose for the lensmen. On the contrary, Fadnavis appeared little worried as he was seen in sombre mood while exercising his franchise. To bring BJP at par Shiv Sena is the biggest challenge he is facing in these polls.

After casting his vote in his hometown, Fadnavis claimed that the Bharatiya Janata Party will get an unprecedented response from voters across the state. “Judging our work, people will rally behind BJP strongly in the elections to 10 municipal corporations including Nagpur, Mumbai,” a confident Fadnavis said.
