Shilpa Shetty’s father Surendra Shetty breathed his last yesterday, following a cardiac arrest. The family including Shilpa have been distraught with this unexpected tragedy.
Many B-town celebs attended the funeral held in Mumbai today. Among them was Akshay Kumar, who once dated the lovely Shilpa. The two however are good friends now, and also business partners. It is therefore not surprising that Akshay was one of the first to arrive and offer his condolences.
Shilpa and Akshay have worked in many movies before including the very popular Dhadkan.
