Nagpur: The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has released the examination dates of Vellore Institute of Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) 2016. The exam is scheduled to be held from April 6, 2016 to April 17, 2016.
The exam will be conducted in three sessions i.e. Session I, Session II and Session III. The timings for each session are separately timed.
Session I: 9 am to 11:30 am
Session II: 12:30 pm to 3 pm
Session III: 4 pm to 6: 30 pm

Educational qualification:
The candidates should have secured an aggregate of 60 per cent in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate)
The average marks obtained in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology (PCM / PCB) in +2 (or its equivalent) put together should be 50 per cent for the SC/ST and North Eastern State
The candidates who have studied in regular, full time and formal education are also eligible to apply
‘NIOS’ candidates are eligible to appear for the VITEEE-2016
The candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 1994 are eligible to apply for VITEEE-2016.
