Art is not what you see; it is something what you make others see. Art enthusiasts and professionals of the city recently made their presence at May Five Art Gallery.
The solo paintings of artist Vijendra Vij from Delhi, were displayed at the gallery. The canvases that adorned the walls grabbed the eyeballs of all the visitors. Vijendra Vij is already well known to fans of art in our country, having its own unique style.
The painting exhibition which was displayed consists the series titled “Delusion at Midnight”, which is a very interesting series.
While speaking to Nagpur Today Vijendra Vij said that the common thing in each painting of this series is feminism and birds. He believes that he can relate to the birds. The delusions are generally fantastic, often with a supernatural, science-fictional, or religious bent.
Some was glancing over the artwork with enjoying a glass of wine that was served along with mouth-watering barbeque snacks, and enjoy each other’s company. The hosts Manish and Nishat Sharma made sure that all the invitees had well time and gets to interact with the artist.
